What Is The Coupler
Sep 06, 2018

In microwave systems, it is often necessary to divide the power of one microwave into several channels in proportion, which is the power allocation problem. The components that realize this function are called power distribution components, i. e. couplers. They mainly include directional couplers, power dividers and various microwave branch devices.

Optocoupler is an electric light to electricity converter with light as the medium to transmit electrical signals. It consists of two parts: the light source and the light receiver. The light source and the light receiver are assembled in the same sealed shell and separated by transparent insulators. The pin of the light source is the input end, the pin of the light receiver is the output end, the common light source is the light emitting diode, the light receiver is the photodiode, the phototransistor and so on. There are many types of optoelectronic couplers, such as photodiode type, phototransistor type, photoresistor type, photocontrolled thyristor type, photoelectric Darlington type, integrated circuit type and so on.
